MATERIALS
Designed with Purpose
At Objekt, we’re rethinking what eyewear is made of and how it’s made. Our mission is to craft frames that push the boundaries of design while setting a new standard for sustainability.
Every Objekt frame starts with 100% recycled acetate sourced through Spexcycle, Australia’s first closed-loop eyewear recycling company. This acetate blends pre-consumer and post-consumer waste, transforming discarded materials into high-quality, durable frames that are built to last.
But we don’t stop there. Through unique partnerships such as with Young Henrys Brewery, we incorporate recycled aluminum from their used beer cans into our designs. This aluminum is repurposed to create sleek, durable temples that make every Objekt frame truly one of a kind. It’s a perfect example of how we’re turning waste into bold, functional design.
We’re always experimenting with new ways to innovate. Looking ahead, we’ll continue exploring recycled materials, from unconventional sources to groundbreaking technologies. Whatever we use, one thing stays the same—our commitment to prioritising recycled materials and sharing every step of the journey with you.
For us, sustainable eyewear isn’t just an option—it’s the future. At Objekt, we’re proving that creating bold, innovative eyewear from recycled materials isn’t just possible—it’s the new standard.
